An Inspiring Mom
Meet our Ani.
Ani is one of those moms who make you realize it is possible to combine motherhood, an active lifestyle and a love for nature. With four children, she still found the time and energy to join a hike with her kids.
Throughout the entire hike, she walked carrying little Agapi in her arms — and yes, with a backpack on her back. Whenever we offered to take the backpack, she said, “No, it’s light, it’s comfortable.” But of course we know it would have been lighter and more comfortable without it. Three of Ani and Vahe’s four children have been coming on hikes for a long time, and this was Agapi’s very first one — safe in her mom’s arms.
Her presence on our hikes is an example for other parents, showing that being a mom is never an obstacle to adventures and to beautiful trails walked together as a family.
And when you watch Ani on the trail — one child in her arms and another walking beside her — you understand that by her own example she is raising conscious protectors of nature and strong individuals.
