Ascent to the Southern Peak of Aragats
On 2026-07-12, we will ascend the Southern Peak of Aragats (3,887 m). We will start the climb near Lake Kari and finish there as well. We have been preparing for this ascent for a long time, so it is open to children who have completed the acclimatization program and are members of the club.

How to prepare for the hike:
1. Hat, including a sun hat
2. Sunscreen
3. Sunglasses
4. Thin long-sleeved shirt
5. Jacket and windbreaker
6. Sports pants (no jeans)
7. Shoes with thick soles, preferably waterproof
8. Raincoat
9. Gaiters (optional)
10. Hiking poles, if you have them
11. 1.5 L of water
12. Food
13. Spare shoes and socks
14. Pack everything in a backpack
15. A bag for your own trash (candy wrappers, empty tissue boxes, used wet wipes)
