Suren Danielyan

Suren Danielyan is a professional rescuer and the President of the Armenian Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism Federation. He has served for more than twenty-one years as a lecturer at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, where he also heads the Department of Sports Tourism and Rescue Operations. Suren holds a Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, is an international-class rescuer, and is the author of more than 60 scientific publications, 4 methodological guides, and 2 educational textbooks. Through interactive, scenario-based learning, Suren teaches children how to make effective decisions as a team while developing their knowledge of nature, wildlife, and appropriate responses to challenging situations. His lessons encourage critical thinking, leadership, and cooperation in outdoor environments. He also teaches about the natural hazards and disasters that may affect Armenia, helping children understand how to prepare for emergencies and what actions should be taken before, during, and after a disaster. His training equips participants with practical knowledge and skills that contribute to both personal safety and community resilience.
