Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is aimed at strengthening and maintaining health, as well as developing a person’s mental and physical abilities. It contributes to the harmony of mind and body and helps children develop values such as good health, physical well-being, and emotional resilience.
No matter how well a mountaineer knows the characteristics of a mountain or how good their equipment is, without proper physical fitness and strong determination, they will not achieve significant results.

The physical activity of a mountaineer involves moving across slopes of varying steepness covered with rocks, ice, snow, or grass. The physical demands are increased by the need to carry a backpack. Mountaineers also climb rocks of different sizes and levels of difficulty. During movement, they must use various technical tools and techniques to ensure both their own safety and that of other members of the group.
A mountaineer can participate in ascents and climbs only if they possess sufficient physical fitness. Training should be designed to develop both endurance and strength. Therefore, it is important to maintain a regular fitness routine by performing exercises such as squats, push-ups, pull-ups, running, and other physical activities.

We also organize physical fitness training sessions; however, these alone are not enough. Every club member should train regularly on their own and continuously improve their physical abilities, endurance, determination, and overall fitness.
