North Adventures Armenia

January 27th began with fog. Yerevan was still asleep—damp, misty, and a bit quiet—but we were already on our way. The fog seemed to chase us all the way to the Aragatsotn region, refusing to let go, but as soon as we entered the Shirak region, everything changed. Blue skies, wide white fields, and the feeling that we were in the right place.

The road brought us to Karmravan, in the Ashotsk region, where the North Adventures Center was waiting for us. The snow here only seemed cold at first glance. In reality, it was full of movement, laughter, and the joyful noise of children. We tried snowshoeing for the first time. The kids, in their colorful clothes and snowshoes, would occasionally tumble into the snow, quickly stand up, smile, and keep moving forward.

Snow tubing was the loudest part of the day; we were sliding, shouting, and laughing, sometimes barely catching our breath. Skiing and snowboarding had their place too—some were trying it for the first time, while others moved confidently, leaving tracks in the snow.

And when our energy ran low or we wanted to rest after getting cold, we would head into the center’s cabin. Inside, it was a completely different world: warmth, the scent of tea, and tranquility. Our hands slowly warmed up, our cheeks turned rosy, and sometimes we even felt too warm before heading back out into the snow.

The day flew by—snow, mountains, blue skies, and time spent together. Shirak welcomed us with its open spaces and clear skies, and we returned recharged. It was a day where we all just had a great time. It was a veeeery fun day!
