“Luse Tnak” and “4 Peaks”
On October 22, as a result of our cooperation with the “Luse Tnak” (Little House of Light) creative center, we found ourselves in the forests of the Tavush region. The “4 Peaks” youth mountain club had organized a hike for the Center’s little ones to Jukhtak Monastery. Below you can read the Facebook post of the “Luse Tnak” creative center:
“A hike, autumn, adventures …
Together with 4_peaks_alpine_club we headed to “Jukhtak Monastery”. For many of the children it was their first hike. The beauty of nature made us want to walk and walk without stopping. When we reached the destination, we were surprised that we had covered the road so quickly.
After learning about the monastery and other similar churches, we had lunch in the embrace of nature, played, then collected branches and lit a campfire, searched for treasure with a map we “happened” to find, found magic medals, and the children were rewarded for conquering their first height.
On the way back, the children happily cleaned the trails of litter.
We thank 4 Peaks Alpine Club for accompanying us successfully.
We thank our parents for joining us and making the first hike possible.
We still have many secret corners of Armenia to discover together.”
